Our company endorsement policy
Our company endorsement suggests that Roche recommends or applauds the benefits of another organisation’s product or service. When used inappropriately, endorsement can dilute the strength of our Roche Brand or provide an unintended implicit recommendation by Roche. To prevent that, we must ensure an adequate approval process when it comes to allowing the use of the Roche company logo by other companies or organisations on their websites, press releases, and/or other promotional materials.
In general, the Roche policy is to decline requests from outside vendors and contractors to use our name, logo, company information, and employee testimonials for vendor press releases, campaigns, road show presentations, on websites, sales brochures, or other promotional materials. There are the following exceptions:
Listing Roche as client
When Roche is listed as the client, vendors, contractors, business development collaborators, may list the Roche name and logo on websites or other materials with permission from the departmental head and Group Communications. Please reach out to the Corporate Branding team through e-mail. The logo use is restricted to the approved purpose and without further notice, the use is limited to two years.
Referencing to Roche more elaborately
More elaborate reference to Roche by a third party (e.g. case studies, press releases, campaigns, etc.) require a compelling business rationale and approval from the functional CEC-2 executive as well as Group Communications. If the request is seen as diluting the Brand, Group Communications (Corporate Branding team) may veto the request.

Every use of the Roche name, logo and further materials by architects and designers related to Roche buildings and premises have to be approved by the Roche Corporate Architect.
Listing Roche as sponsor
External organisations and events (e.g. conferences and symposia) where Roche acts as a sponsor - alone or in conjunction with other parties - may use the Roche name and logo on websites or other materials pending approval of Roche contact.
Listing Roche as partner
Business collaborators, sponsored non-profit organisations, hospitals, and academic organisations may list the Roche name and logo on websites or other materials with permission from the departmental head and Group Communications. Please reach out to the Corporate Branding team through e-mail. The logo use is restricted to the approved purpose and without further notice, the use is limited to two years.
If a product/service/solution is developed or marketed jointly with a third-party partner, we allow Co-Branding (combining of at least two distinct Brands in order to strengthen the equity of both of them) in certain rare cases.
