An intentional use of colour

Next to our logo, colour is the most powerful visual signifier of our brand. The correct application of our brand colours serves to create a consistent experience across all communication channels.

Secondary colours

Clean and crisp white space sets the stage for the primary brand colour palette. Roche Blue (PMS 300) and white are the primary corporate colours at Roche, supplemented by black and Roche Grey (Cool Gray 5). The brand colours are precisely specified below for all media and colour spaces. Discrete shades are permissible in the interest of providing flexibility in their application.

Roche Red (PMS 192), Roche Violet (PMS 2583), Roche Green (PMS 340), Roche Yellow (PMS 123), and Roche Orange (PMS 144) form the secondary group of Roche brand colours. They are used for graphics, coding and differentiation in Roche communications. The secondary colours are rich so you should use them sparingly and consciously. Discrete shades are permissible in the interest of flexibility. The combination of secondary colours with the brand colours should be intentional and is primarily used in graphics and icons.

Roche Silver (PMS Silver) can be used in print communications. Roche Cyan (#OOE5EF) can be used in digital communications.

Tints and shades of Roche colours are permitted. These are created by adding white or black to the colour, respectively. This has to be done by professional designers.

Roche design colours are used to give a multifaceted and differentiated image. They are selected from the imagery that is associated with the communication. Design colours support and harmoniously extend the brand colours. They can be used to organize and clarify information, for example in diagrams or titles, and can also be pulled through as a font or background colour.
